Dasha Rush presents
LES TERRITOIRES ÉPHÉMÈRES
in collaboration with Valentin Tszin

Territories: Worldwide

Poetic and philosophical explorations of the nature of the human: As a biological instance within a larger organism (nature), as an individual and within social structures. So as an atomic entity in the vast eternity of space

“Les Territoires Éphémères” is an interdisciplinary performance that transcends traditional artistic boundaries, uniting various disciplines such as audiovisual art, dance, butoh (a form of Japanese dance theatre), electronic music, and abstract poetry, all interwoven with theatrical elements to create a singular ephemeral experience.

At its core, “Les Territoires Éphémères” explores the ephemeral nature of art and the human experience. Unlike fixed art forms such as paintings, music albums, or films—each anchored in time and a defined context— this performance embodies the concept of “art jetable” (French for “disposable art”). It challenges the conventional notion of permanence by presenting a piece that exists only in the moment of its performance.

Dasha Rush is an interdisciplinary artist, primarily working in the field of sound as a composer and music producer. Her practice moves fluidly between music and sound art, spanning from dance-floor compositions to deeply experimental, cross disciplinary projects. She explores the boundaries of sonic expression, often stepping beyond music as a central focus to engage with broader artistic forms.

Valentin Tszin is a Berlin-based artist with a background in acting, physical theatre, and Taekwondo. Merging butoh, techno, rave culture, and digital media, he creates intense performances that explore the limits of body and mind. His work spans dance, film, architecture, and philosophy—appearing at Atonal, CTM, Today’s Art, the Athens Biennale, and Berlin’s UdK.
